Important notice: New IT System.

 

Polmont Park Medical Group's IT system will be replaced as part of a national GP IT reprovisioning programme. Our ‘go-live’ date is scheduled for Monday 8th June. This means that we expect disruption to routine services during the transition period, due to limited or no access to medical records.  

More information:  

  • Appointments. We will be able to offer routine appointments up to and including Tuesday 2nd June. After this, we need to wait for the new IT system to be installed before we can create our new appointment book. We will be able to resume booking routine appointments again from Tuesday 9th June, when the new system is live.  
  • Urgent only service. We will only be able to offer appointments for urgent clinical issues that cannot wait for a routine appointment during the transition period. This will include Wednesday 3rd June, Thursday 4th June, Friday 5th June, and Monday 8th June.
  • Prescription Requests. We will be unable to process repeat prescriptions requested between Tuesday 2nd June and Tuesday 9th June. Please order your repeat prescriptions early if they are due during this period. Your local pharmacy will be aware of the IT replacement and will be able to help you if medication or prescription issues arise during the transition period.
  • Test results / requests. The admin team will have limited or no access to clinical records during the transition period. We will not be able to provide you with information or results from your medical record until after Tuesday 9th June. 
We are sorry for any disruption this will cause, and are grateful for your understanding during this period, and for your patience while we get to grips with the new IT system.
